SF State Fashion Show Vid

Wednesday, April 29, 2009

The vid covers the fashion show TIZ did in early April- Talentado. Many entertainers and performances, Billy throw in this video when my photos simply didn't serve the justice of how much we had at the show. The vid is very well done, great job, Arms!

Business Receipt

Creatively done by ZEF. "Certainly wont work for the corporate side....

of things but creatively they work nicely."

I'll definitely remember the card/receipt, but it just might mix in with all the other actual receipts that I have in my wallet.

Dripping Zeeb

TIZ's also done an OG drip tee when we first started.(For those who has one, it's now a collector's item, there'll be no reprints in the future.) But here we have a real cool illustration by Måns Wikström. This graphic....

is truly original and the concept blows my mind.

like whoa.

GDAC Trunk Sale

TIZ was invited by Joey Fuetsch from Global Diversity Achievement Club to vend at their trunk sale. So we, Michelle and I, took off from Davis early in the morning for the tabling...

opportunity.

Here it is, the flyer for the event.

The good sports from GDAC that took on the responsibility of handling the mu-lah.

Natasha and Esther.

I was there to frighten people, really.

..and demonstrate amazing pull ups.

Upper Playground was also at the event.

Led by Jason Lee and Jordan Ma, the
Cal/San Diego based clothing line Inogu Fabrics came out with their latest shirts.

Robbie from LowerHater also popped by with a series of fresh tees.

Jeff from Nibus brought out their cuts and sew collabos with different artists to the sale.

Also where I got my Simpsons toy.

Rasikh dropped by, too. The man to the right is Joey.

Here's Richard's solo shot.

Rene, Wendy, and Joey from the GDAC team.

Thanks, guys. It was a fun event!

Check out BARE magazine's coverage of the event.

Spring 2009 - 2nd Drop

Sunday, April 26, 2009

The 2nd drop is now up in the online shop. The design consists of a Soda Can, a rabbit, and the very original Zeeb heads. Lookbook of the new imaginations is up as well. Every Zeeb...

has a story, right?

B-Rabbit
I think Rabbit's got the perfect quality for breakdancing. Imagine how many back-flips it can pull off with single jump. The long legs would express the perfect curves for freezes. Just whip out that old-skool stereo and throw on them old-skool kicks, let the rabbit blow your mind with its dance moves.

OG Maroon
Original TIZ Zeeb head. Clean, simple, and I like maroon.

Soda Can
Running out of brain juice? Here's the solution. TIZ soda that helps boost your creativity for another long-hour project making. The fuzzy bubble reflects its secret formula, kinda. Beat that, Coke! or Pepsi!

OG Navy
Yet another Original TIZ Zeeb head tee. Cool color for the season. Hope the sun's not blasting its heat on you. If so, it's a good source for vitamin D.

The new imaginations are available here:online shop Check out how people rock the zeebs:Lookbook

Fact of the Day

The phrase "rule of thumb" is derived from an old English law which stated that you couldn't beat your wife with anything wider than your thumb.

Chop.

That's right. I'm really not a hair stylist, but if I got a hold of a razor, I'll try to make the most of it...especially when there's a victim like Jim...

Just a few nights back, actually, it all started last year when Jim was given a dare to chop off all his hair. The dare was way pass due, so here it is, the epic event.

Before.

Getting ready.

Did I tell you that it was my first time handling a razoe

Phase 1.

See the resemblance?

The process wasn't as pleasant as I expected to be. Well, that's the interest payment for dragging the dare for years.

Phase 2.

A sincere smile even under the worst ever hair-do. Mad props to Jim.

Then that was it.

A tail for the win.

Fact of the Day

Saturday, April 18, 2009

Some places in the world have time zones that are offset in quarter-hour increments like Nepal (with UTC +5:45) and New Zealand's Chatham Island (with UTC +12:45).

7:12 and a series of clocks

Exactly. The shirts' release time is exactly 7:12 pm this coming Saturday (April, 25th). Random?! Why not midnight, why not 3, but instead, 7:12 you ask? It's quite brief, really....

If you've paid a close attention on your analog G-shocks(or the corner of your monitor)..

There just might be a close resemblance, try use your spectacles and imagination. Or even step back abit. 7:12 seems to be the official TIZ time from now on, but who am I to claim, there are plenty of 712 owners out there. But hey.. I just hope that the next time when you see 7:12, you might think of TIZ.

(like everyone knows what 420 stands for.)

Now that I'm talking about time, I'd like to also share a few clocks that I found represent brilliance:

a piece of grandfather clock can be classy AND modern.

I almost purchased this set of clocks. "Amazing" comes with a high price.

Took the geographical shapes of NY, London, and Hong Kong.

Simple.

Clock of fonts.

For you typographers.

The Redundant clock.

Of course.

A custom Star Wars clock.

Sold.

An elegant innovation.

Grandfather clock with book shelf.

Yet another shelf + clock

But much more electrifying.

It's a cultural taboo for Chinese to give clocks as presents, it symbolizes "death". But I really don't mind receiving any of the clocks above one as a gift. Till next time, ciao.
