Goodies for Bookies

Sunday, April 12, 2009

I happen to have the urge to collect books that I find clever, interesting, and inexpensive. Here are a few books I've received recently, one of which doesn't belong to me, and anticipated to read - Food Play, Forbidden Knowledge, and Microtrends.....

Food Play by Saxton Freymann and Joost Elffers

Forbidden Knowledge by Michael Powell (There's a second for this one)

How bold, eh?

Then there's Microtrends by Mark J. Penn andE. Kinney Zalesne.
Not much picture here, for the book was covered entirely by texts. It talks about the micro trends that we undermine when focusing on the major trends in press, when micro trends have a clout in shaping tomorrow's world.

Tell you more about it when I'm done reading.

Stay tune.
