A pair of custom truckers for Leon. Spent a good amount of time on them, blog worthy?
After reviewing the pictures, I realize this entry would turn out to be a really low quality tutorial and rather, an overview on the stages of customizing.
So here, I decided to change the title.
Trucker Hats & Snapshots.
ok, here we go.
1.) Prepare some truckers. Since truckers are one size fits all, that saved us a lot of time finding the perfect fit. On the other hand, truckers come with MANY colors, picking out the right colors usually ended up becoming the most difficult stage in customization. Dammit.
2.) Pick a good picture of the couple. As you can see the lovely couple in the background.
3.) Sketch out the outline and placement of the design.
Note: Since we have the paired hats. He asked for the placements and graphics that he'd like to be customized onto the front. Saved me a lot of planning time.
4.) Traced the perfect path. This step is crucial, it determines EVERYTHING.
Note: This is the only step that can't be messed up through the stages. It's like the skeletons, if they are crooked, no matter how well the muscle and skins are stacked on top of them, the creature would still turn out to be...you know, crooked.
5.) add the muscle and skins. Metaphorically speaking.
6.) BAM!
Either try customize the truckers the way I did it, or if you were pro enough, free hand it!
The risk of messing up and speed are positively correlated.
