That's right, my fellow friends- The Chinese New. Year2009's the year of Ox and it's really on the 26th, but that has absolutely nothing to do with our celebration. There were no red envelopes, booze, or mahjong. Instead, a whole crap load of good food, card games, and super smash bros.
Here we have Soondae, the dog, wishing everyone a Happy Chinese New Year!
here's from the guys.
and the ladies.
Angela's capable of doing some brilliant camouflage.
Then it was a series of picture taking before our feast.
This is Kevin the stalker at his best. Angela would probably slaughter me, twice, for exposing this picture of her to the world.
But hey, here's a good one.
"awww"
More photos!
We have Yen the man and Joey the not so hairy. Cool dudes.
Then there it was, the dishes that we've all been waiting for.
Chicken Heart.
Literally.
Group photo time:
These things tend to fail especially when I was the photographer.
Tony on the left was extra hungry. Michelle on the corner was just a slick ninja.
Group photo 2.
Now you get what I meant by ninja? Oooh, Michelle.
Card games:
We invented this one. To get it started, you'll need two decks of cards.
We have the red and blue decks.
After equally distributed the cards to 2-6 players, we're ready to go.
All cards face down, no peeking, because prediction's the game.
Rules are simple:
1.)Same color cards must go to the its corresponding pile. (Red = left, Blue = right)
2.)You're now going to take turn guessing the first card from each of your own the deck.
3.)You can guess a certain number plus or minus one.
Ex: Ace + 1. So you'll win if the card is Ace or two. Nine - 1. You'll win if the card is nine or eight.
4.)If you get the card right, you can flick anyone of players in the ear.
5.)If you misplace the card to the other pile, every player can flick you in the ear.
There. Good luck.
Joey, in this case, unfortunately misplaced one of the blue card to the red card's pile.
So the flicking begins.
Ouch.
Have a marvelous Chinese 2009.
