350z x CB350

Saturday, August 15, 2009

Friday afternoon.

Cody's a recent bike owner. The classy Honda CB350's his first bike. After weeks of refurbishment and detailing the bike from head to toe, it was time to give his baby a little photoshoot, so he could proudly show it off to his grandsons.

Joey's got some new upgrades for his Z as well. New spoiler, exhaust, camber adjustments..etc.
I'll let the photos do the talking:

BAM.

Useful online stuff..that are free

Monday, August 10, 2009

I spend more than 4-5 hours online almost daily, things can get a whole lot easier with some proper online applications or widgets. I like things affordable and efficient. So, all of the resources that I'm sharing with you now are completely FREE. (Only catch is, most of the stuff here are meant specifically for Mac and Firefox users.)

With hundreds of new online apps coming out everyday and with hundreds (well, a good amount) of apps I've tried, these are some good essential ones that significantly saved me some time and enhanced my productivity on doing some REAL work.

I've got 2 web pages, 2 firefox add-ons, and 2 mac dashboard widgets.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEBPAGES:

2conv.com

Let's face it, not all of us purchase our musics through CDs or iTunes. But certainly, ALL of us use youTube to a certain degree. This website helps convert the audio file from any YouTube video to mp3s.

Mint.com

Online money management. It's like a secretary for your spendings. Set a budget for yourself and , if, you've exceeded the budget, the site will send you a text msg or email to inform you your misdemeanor. The site also help you layout your spending trend and then provide mulah savings plan.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FIREFOX ADD-ONS

Xmarks.

So you've saved up all these favorite web pages under your 'bookmarks' or 'favorites', then you've decided to get a new computer/laptop, and now you'd have to find that seem-to-be-purposely-deeply-hidden folder that kept alllll the dam marks to transfer to the new one. Well, things are going to be a lot easier now.

This add-on helps all the firefox users to sync all the bookmarks(kinda like a back up) online to your specific account. So the next time when you upgrade to a new laptop/computer, just re-download this add-on, sign in, then BAM, your bookmarks will be all set and good to go.

Wikipedia Look up Add On

I'm a big wikipedia fan (when I not need to cite things for papers). When it comes to something I don't know quite well, or AT ALL, I'd copy the specific phrase, open up a tab to wiki, then paste and search it. That's sooo 6 weeks ago(I added this addon kinda late). With this add on, you'd just have to highlight the word/phrase, right click, then THERE! A "look up in Wikipedia" option's right in your face.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DASHBOARD WIDGETS

iStat Pro & Twidget

I'm sure many of you Mac users are already familiar with iStat Pro. It's a widget that tells you EVERYTHING about your mac, including fan speed, cpu temperature, cpu usage, memory usage, battery life, network speed...everything.

Twidget's good stuff. Any of you are twitter addicts? good. Here's a way to tweet without opening a new window. All the magic will happen from your dashboard. Things will be much more efficient. ( The set up is really self explanatory.)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There they are, 2 web pages, 2 widgets, and 2 addons.
Jesus, can you be any lazier?

Summall 09

Friday, August 7, 2009

It sure has been awhile, here are some little bits of sneak peaks of the upcoming designs.
Be sure to check back for the date of release.

TIZ does not have a physical store, nor have we retailed any of our clothing to any store on the streets. This is the same and only access for everyone of you to get a piece of TIZ's imagination. Yup.

UCD Breakdance Club x Billy Hong Productions

Tuesday, August 4, 2009

Yet another video production by Billy - amazing stuff. For those who are familiar with Davis geographically, the bboys from the vid pulled stunts from UCD Shield's library, behind Olson, and other random places without their pants. Good shit.

If you're a bboy/bgirl from Davis, UCD Breakdance Club welcomes you. (pulling pant-less stunts not required.)

Stanford + Cupcakes

Thursday, July 30, 2009

Palo Alto, here I come. Not only does the place have the world's top notch University, it also has the world's top notch Cupcakes. (My personal opinion.)

Here are the ladies who enjoyed a good afternoon worth of sunshine along the trip.

From the left, we have Michelle, Michelle's friend - Maxine, and Maxine's cousin - Jennie.

Arriving at the Stanford Mall getting the cupcakes that we all anticipated for.

look how happy they Maxine was.

This is it- Sprinkles. It's the only Sprinkles in Northern California. Total of 7 stores, only, across the Nation. (More will be open in the near future)

It was my first time trying. So did it worth a 45 minute drive from SF to have a taste of this cupcakes? Perhaps, if I loved sweets. It was definitely a fun experience, with the bonus vitamin D's.

I didn't take much picture of the store, but it was classy brown with some sprinkles of vibrant colors. Detail's the key.

I really liked the atmosphere within the shop.

Here's Michelle and her cupcake - Red Velvet.

Sidenote// doesn't it look like I photoshop'd Michelle's head into the picture?

Anyway, after we delighted ourselves the sweet goodness, we dropped by Stanford University.

The glorious Stanford Memorial Church. It stood extravagantly in the center of the University since 1903. The ladies were ants like compared to the massive mural painted in the front.

As we walk towards the Oval garden, we couldn't help but to pose around these sculptures.

They're the Burgher of Calais, by Auguste Rodin. Long story short, these are heroes that sacrificed themselves to save the port of France. And we were just silly people that felt like...posing.

No picture of the Oval Garden because there were simply too many people playing ultimate frisbee or rugby. Either way, we'd be Chinese style pizzas if we got in their way.

However, we did get a picture of my trying to make an illusion of me spitting out the tie like it was my tongue.

..and judging by me-have-to-explain-what-I-was-doing part, I failed. Nice composition, though, so props to Michelle.

Then, this is me trying to get a Michelle.

and Michelle trying to get me. Much more romantic, no?

This is Maxine taking advantage of Michelle on the left.

Michelle being "the man" on the right.

Jennie and her cousin.

Jennie and her imaginary friend.

This is me..dropping like its hot.

and finally, Hoover Tower.

Which wrapped up the day.

Amazing time with amazing people. Palo Alto's a good place and so is my seat in front of my Mac daddy.
