Campus Movie Fest [CMF]

Monday, November 17, 2008

The world's largest student film festival...
was located next to SF Japan Town, hence the exciting pictures before the real entry.

You can't leave Japan town without these cutesy, artistic, Japanese, and expensive photo experiences.

Then there goes dinner.

Omelette with fried soba noodle. mmmm, heaven.

Ok, here's the real deal:

The Western Grande Finale was hosted at the Regency Theatre.

C'mon, just by judging the luxurious theatre, you know the films and the event were no child play.

Line of people.

A red carpet serious.

Don't be deceived by my vans, I had a decent suit on to show my respects. ( I didn't care if it were black-tie optional)

BAM.

It was my first time attending CMF, the center piece caught my eyes.

Creative stuff.

"Beau-t-ful."

And finally met up with this year's contestants.

On my right, the young talents are Kevin, Justin, and Rasikh (who happened to not show up at the moment, thanks man. )

All the finale films were shown at the event. They were spectacular. I couldn't believe such great works could be accomplished in a week. Plus overcoming a series of hardship and obstacles.. I give them all my admiration, I wore the suit for a reason .

Adam Savage from Mythbusters showed up for the glam, too.

Lastly, here's a glance of Kevin, Justin, and Rasikh's masterpiece.

Something Cool of the day

Only photoshoppers can truely appreciate this.
