Turn Trash to Gold pt.1

In this case, really just a table display.
Few weeks ago, I dropped by Davis' Bargain barn and picked up a few things.
All cost as little as 7 bucks. Now, it's time to turn them into, hopefully, something cool.

You see the old school (well, yet to be oldschool) monitor is dissembled. [With the help of Cody and Tony]

Left with this case. I believe it has a lot to offer. Something creative can emerge in that little space. The space that today's flat screens cannot provide.

Now the tools:

and cardboard.

I first sketched out the dimension needed to fill the space- the background.

Done.

Then to refine the surface.

With the help of acetone

I was able to erase the label.

Done.

There's alot more to be done to the canvas. Part II will be posted up soon. OF course, for those who will be going to the fashion show, this item will be displayed with our TIZ table.
