Yup, that's exactly how my desktop look like as of right now.
I've mentioned this revolutionary desktop interface once before when demo'd on TED. It's finally out for download(links will be posted if you continue reading). Ok, I suppose....

revolutionary
might not be completely correct, because it's really bringing the well-organized and perfectly aligned desktop to a more reality-related messy desktop that we face daily with relative features- pile up stuff, toss files around, and pin photos on walls.

Cool and fun to play around with. Now we can be messy both in and out of the computer world.

Anyway, here's a demo of one of its cool features - pile files by type.

There are a bunch of stuff in the middle of the desktop.

Use mouse to drag and a region for selection.

Click "Pile by Type" (duh. and duh is good - user friendliness.)

Bam. There you go.

Also, you might have already notice the walls around the desktop. It really serves as an extended area for posting. You can double click a particular wall and you'll be zoomed to it.

Of course, the desktop is fully customizable like usual.

Try it here for free!
