That's the way my work station's set up. "Nice." you said. Nooo, don't get fooled by the dual monitors. Things are being placed this way is because the backlight to my LCD's burnt out! It happened this morning when I routinely turn on my laptop like a zombie, but only to realize that my screen's no longer working(after some research.)
I'm no Beethoven. There's NO WAY I can design with a black screen. So...
This is what I need: A thin tube that can light up again. It takes a $100 or two to repair. (Oh, for the love of Dell Inspiron.)
OR..I can replace it with another laptop (now we're talking)
Now I think of it, it might be a sign for me to start hitting the books.
SIKE.
A new laptop, perhaps. [Designed by Kyle Bean]
So then, with my head tilted and staring into the external monitor, it's a bunch of web surfing for the most fitting laptop that fits my needs.
I'd like something light and portable. (Quite frequently, I bring my laptop on campus to design between classes.)
The two side touch screen would be nice. This the "One Laptop Per Child" concept- the OLPC XO Laptop 2.0.
Or maybe the Fujitsu Lifebook U
171×133×26.5 - 32mm and weighs only 580 grams. It can last about 4 hours with its battery life. But it might be the best thing to watch Movies with.
This would definitely work with gaming and movie watching.
It can extend from its closed 13" screen to 26" wide when opened. Concept design by Kyle Cherry(Kyles' can really design laptops.) But wait, my LCD screen just broken, I don't think I can handle THREE screens, just yet.
Then maybe split screens?
It's the Xentex dual 13.3-inch screen laptop.
Maybe I should go with an opposite approach for a classier laptop.
Amazing isn't it.
Bamboo would work.
Asus 12" bamboo laptop. The only thing that's holding me back is the $1800 retail price.
Or something more practical with today's iPhone fuzz?
Designed by OLO. It's a laptop that's compatible with iPhones.
Seriously, laptops that are more realistic that would fit my daily usage.
Samsung SDI.
Intel's Think Thin
Way too many selections...I should just sleep on it.
Why don't you let me know what YOU recommend?
