Trip to Taiwan/Day 1.5

Hello guys, I'm currently in HK International Airport waiting for the connecting flight to Taipei Taiwan. Like it seems, it'll be an almost a month trip to visit my friends and family back home as well as grub on some traditional Taiwanese food and not get diarrhea.

Recap:
Thanks to my sister's employee tickets, my bro and I gotten a decent discount. The catch is..they're also stand-by's, meaning that we'd have to gamble our luck and wish that there's empty seats on the plane for us to get on.

Michelle came by to wish us luck. She also brought us the "flight survival package", which includes snacks, snacks, and time killing gossip magazine.

Luckily, there were empty seats. And yet, we were upgraded to business class. WOOT.

It was our first business class experience. Each passenger were given his/her space, which the seats that can lay completely flat, and movable TV screen that had a crap load of movies and games. I wasn't able to watch much because I spent 8 hours sleeping...given the flat seats.

Here are the cuisine that were given on the flight:
Started off with roasted peanuts and some raw salmon dessert.

The salmon tasted like crap. no joke. Even drinking Sprite had a hard time washing off the taste.
(But I was really grateful. )

The best meal was breakfast, just like the days when I had access to the dinning common in Davis. I'm not a big fan of airplane food, but the flight was good.

After 14 hours of plane ride, with a few minor turbulence, we've arrived safely to the HK Airport. Local time: 6:15 AM.

It's humongous(we had to take shuttle to our gate) and has free Wifi (mad props).

Woot, just another 2 hours of flight then it's home sweet home.
