McDonald's

Thursday, June 4, 2009

Hey look, an enormous "M" on a bright red background. What would be the first that pops into mind?

Of course.

Everyone knows about its massive fast food chains and the great nutritious value in the food they provided. "Super Size Me", by Morgan Spurlock, says it all. But I'm not here to repeat all that.

Other than all the negative press shading above its head, when you look closely into its branding image and creative marketing ideas, it's truly inspirational. Of all fast food restaurants, my heart belongs to "In-N-Out", though, McDonald's definitely deserves the "most iconic" award.

Here's a few of their propaganda:

Formula one. The distinctive red and yellow's became their signature.

Paper, billboard, poster advertisements.

How about some McDonald's breakfast while reading the morning paper?

Way too big for 1 single space to contain.

Rock on. Play with the rolling stone's icon.

Every restaurant can put out incredible advertisements, but not all of them can actually put out decent apparel. The products are crossover collaborations from the respected brands of the field.

Aren't these nice...

Invited by McDonald's, The jeans company RMC and designer Eric Kot designed the jeans exclusive for its employees. Top employees, perhaps?

McDonald's x SillyThing

SillyThing's a HK base record company.

Collaboration burger!?

Other then topper wear, lower wear, how about the sneaker wear?

The Hyperdunk McDonald colorway.

Last but not least: Ron English x MINDstyle Deluxe McSupersized Me Figure

Retail for $2000 US, only 30 are available worldwide.

Whoa, yea?
but McDonald's still mal-nutritious.
